Kayaking you use a paddle with

We would normally say children aged 8+ can participate.

We have various locations we use around Northern Ireland for our canoeing and kayaking sessions. Most of our sessions are based on Strangford Lough however others take place on various rivers, loughs and waterways around Northern Ireland. There will be clear instructions on how to get to the meeting point of your session as part of your booking process.

Most of the locations we use either do not have any chaging rooms or toilets or there may be limited facilities available.

We have excellent sit on tops and canoes available for use as well as wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets.

Usual swim kit under your wetsuit is fine. Please also bring old trainers and socks that will get wet.

Complete change of clothes – including footwear – and a towel. Best to leave this kit in your vehicle in a place that is easily accessible to get access at the end of your session.

Your instructor will bring a rucksack and dry bag along with them during the session so we can hold into your keys for you.

Yes - we will also take photos of your session. However please ask everyone else in the group if they are happy for you to take their photo. Our photos are usually uploaded onto our social media platforms within 48 hours of the session.
